Building Learning Power

The Building Learning Power (BLP) project is based on developing children's skills in four key areas:RESILIENCE - sticking at tasks even when they become difficult.
RESOURCEFULNESS - knowing what to do when you don't know what to do!
REFLECTIVENESS- being able to think and talk about what you have learnt and how you have learnt something.
RECIPROCITY - working with and supporting others in their learning.

This picture shows the character PERCY VERE. Percy is a good learner. He listens, asks good questions and never gives up. If the children are faced with a difficult problem then they are encouraged to think in the way that 'Percy' would to help them find the solution.
