Views of the School
As there has been a school in Mosborough for over 300 years it is possible to trace several generations of local families who have attended our school over the years. In recognition of this and in remembrance of Joseph Stone, the school's founder, we had a wall built with the names of past and present pupils and members of staff written into the bricks.
One of the many advantages that the new building has over the old is the space around the school. There are extensive hard and soft playing areas with sports pitches and garden/wildlife areas.
This is a view of the junior playground looking towards the back of the school.
Inside the school are 11 purpose built classrooms, hall, dinning area, meeting rooms and a library/ ICT suite.
There are 16 computers in the ICT suite that are networked and linked to the internet. All the children enjoy working in this room!
THE HALLHere are some of the children using the school hall for games. The hall is also used for assemblies and clubs- gymnastics and badminton.
THE PLAYGROUNDSThis is a picture of some of the older children playing with the younger children in the infant playground. Many of the older children help with the younger ones at breaktimes, helping organise games and run activities.
